When I was a teenager, we lived on a hill overlooking the San Gabriel valley, and we could see three drive ins. With a pair of binoculars, you could watch the movie! Oh, those were the days...

In Estil Springs, TN (a town just 5 minutes from my hometown of Tullahoma), there's actually a drive-in with three screens. ^_^ $6 per ticket, double-feature on Fridays (if not all nights), new releases only... Great place. It's a shame about this one though. x.x Nice shot, for any matter. Reminds me of a few places on the outskirts of Paradise City (from EA's Burnout Paradise)

Thanks! :aww: I'm told that drive-ins are still popular in other parts of the country. They've been gone from my area for close to 15 years now; the land was just too valuable. I miss going to the drive-in.

Come on down to southern-middle Tennessee. ^_^ Stay in Tullahoma though. Everyone around Tullahoma wants to live there, and I live right in the middle of it. X3 Well... I will again in a few weeks. ^_^

Bonnaroo in Manchester (now over); Tim's Ford State Park in Manchester, Winchester, and Tullahoma; contra dancing every 2nd and 4th Tuesday in Flat Creek; Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg (never been through it though); surely something happening in Shelbyville; Old Stone Fort in Manchester; and Tullahoma's just... the place. ^_^
